John E. Gross, Esq. is a Washington attorney whose practice emphasizes Criminal & DUI Defense, Home Foreclosure Defense, and Business Law.  Mr. Gross began working in the legal profession as an intern investigator at the Seattle public defense agency, The Defender Association.  After graduating from the University of Washington in 2001, Mr. Gross attended California Western School of Law.

While in law school, Mr. Gross focused  on criminal matters.  He assisted in exonerating wrongfully convicted inmates through working at the California Innocence Project and then later worked as a legal intern at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office.  Mr. Gross returned home to Seattle for the last semester of law school, in which he interned at the Washington Appellate Project, a public defense agency that handles appeals for indigent clients in felony cases.

After graduation from law school in 2006, Mr. Gross spent some time away from the legal profession and enlisted in the U.S. Army.  He received an honorable discharge and was admitted to the Washington State Bar.  Mr. Gross is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association, Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and The King County Bar Association, where he is involved in the family law and solo practitioner/small firm sections.  He is young, energetic, and enthusiastic about defending a person’s constitutional rights, defending homeowner’s rights and working helping small to medium sized businesses.
